I finished the book about pigeons by Andrew Blechman, it's called Pigeons: The Fascinating Saga of the World's Most Revered and Reviled Bird. It isn't as good as the book on rats, but it wasn't bad.
I thought I'd take a break from non fiction and picked up a book my mom gave me. She passed on a stack of books she had finished a while back. It is difficult to read this particular book because I keep rolling my eyes at the writing and losing my place on the page. But seriously, how many times can a "red hawk circle in the distance" and how many times can Lexie notice how well Jeremy's shoulders fill out his sweater, or she become charmed and feel her cheeks burning but remain determined not to admit it? I'm guessing, a whole lotta times, since I'm only 1/3 through and it's been going on for most of it.
